Kick-off workshop Building Energy Efficiency National Task Force

Petroleum and Energy Authority (PEA)  in cooperation with Ethiopian German Energy Cooperation supported the formation of a national team of experts from concerned national stakeholders (public institutions, private sector energy managment service providers, higher learning insititutions and professional associations) to anchor the development of a national benchmark for energy efficiency in buildings for Ethiopia and facilitate its inclusion the Ethiopian national building code.

the formation workshop took place on 19 September  2023  in Addis Ababa. a total of  xx professional participated the workshop 3 sub groupes, namely  residential buildings , commercial buildings and public buildings were formed each with a chair person vice chair and a secretary.
