Annual Women in Energy Awarding Event 2023

The third Women in Energy Ethiopia awarding event took place on November 23, 2023, at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel, in collaboration with Ethiopian-German energy cooperation and Energizing Development (Endev). The event celebrated the achievements of three
remarkable women who have made outstanding contributions to the field of energy in Ethiopia. 128 guests attended the ceremony and witnessed the award of EWiEn’s Influential Women in Energy for 2023 to the three deserving recipients.

The event was attended by guests from various sectors who came to honor the achievements of the women. Representatives from government and non-government organizations, private organizations, embassies, media, associations, academic institutions, and EWiEn members were among the attendees. H.E. Mr. Alemitu Umut, the State Minister for Women and Children Affairs of Ministry of Women and Social Affairs (Front center) was the gues to honor on the event.
