National Sustainable Energy Strategy - Multistakeholder Expert Review Workshop
A multi-stakeholder technical expert workshop to review the draft Sustainable Energy Development Strategy that is being developed by a technical committee that is lead by MoWE and supported by EGEP was held from 26th to 28th of October 2023, in Adama, Ethiopia.
. The workshop was attended by experts from major players in the sector including Ministry of Water and Energy, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Petroleum and Energy Authority, Ethiopia Electric Power, and Ethiopia Electric Utility and EGEP
The experts conducted an in-depth review of the draft strategy including its structure, comprehensiveness, feasibility, data accuracy, alignment with other national strategies and goals as well as international commitments. The outcome of this focused workshop shall be compiled and presented to high-level government audience for endorsement.
